Since earning my master's degree at the Medill School of Journalism, I’ve spent the last 12 years using the written word, good graphics, and creative consulting to help my clients make the world better in the way that feels right to them. While I’ve worked with everyone from big ecommerce sites to cutting-edge energy companies to the organic ice cream guy, my heart is always called to those clients who put sustainability above everything else.
I have lived in Illinois and Virginia, Oregon and California, and even Belize. Everywhere I go, I see people committed to making the changes that will improve the planet and its people. Being a part of that is what drives me during the day and helps me sleep at night.
This century will see a greater need for environmental justice, clean energy, smart regulatory strategies, and streamlined workflows than ever before. Good communication makes a huge difference in how well we can accomplish each of those goals, and I’ve poured my life into honing them for the people with whom I work.
Since getting my master’s degrees in education and journalism, I’ve used a blend of research and humor to craft marketing messages that actually convert. My clients consistently see higher engagement, better rankings, and happier bosses when they work with me. Currently, my focus is on the clean energy sector, which is my passion and, in my opinion, the paramount concern of the coming century.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, cooking, painting, and spending time with my family and pooches. I need an endless supply of science fiction and ancient history, so I welcome your recommendations, whether we work together or not!
