Q: Do you offer free shipping internationally?
A: No. International shipping is always so costly that no amount of purchases can safely cover it, especially since foreign countries often come collect from US companies after the package is delivered. It is necessary to charge no matter what. If that doesn't work for you, please feel free to purchase downloadable coloring pages. :)
The exception is snail mail. Please see below.
Q: Why do you use flat rate shipping?
A: Wix does not automatically calculate shipping costs and then print labels the way Etsy and other ecommerce platforms do. I balance the need to pay for shipping without spending too much time calculating by offering a flat rate, which may work out in your favor -- or not -- by a dollar or so. Thank you for understanding that this is the best I can do for now.
Q: Why do some of your prints not come in larger sizes?
A: Because they were painted in smaller sizes and will only withstand so much sizing up without losing definition.
Q: Why do some of your products take so long to arrive?
A: I use third-party printers for my coloring book and large-format prints. These do individual print runs at a great price, but the downside is it may take a week or two for you to get your products.
Please note your items may also arrive in separate packages, as I use different fulfillment services for various items (e.g. coloring book, large-format prints, and others). If you receive part of your order and are concerned that something is missing, please feel free to contact me.
Q: Why don't you offer an estimated delivery time?
A: Because I work with several third-party suppliers whose timelines I don't control, and because I'm a full-time mom who homeschools her kids. Sometimes their needs may take precedence and I may send out an art shipment a day or two later than I'd hoped. You are always welcome to check on your order, but if you need it by a specific date, please check with me BEFORE you buy.
Q: How does shipping work for the monthly letters?
The letter uses a subscription model, so it will be delivered to your home every month until you cancel. You can also order individual past letters without subscribing, which will be listed in the shop as they come available.
New letters will be send out at the end of the month, while catchup letters will be mailed within a few weeks of ordering. You will get the intro letter no matter when you begin your subscription (in the same envelope), the better to familiarize yourself with the world of Fox Hollow! *Please do not expect your letter until the end of the month, as I batch send the current letter only once per month.*
Shipping is FREE because I use stamps to send letters to everywhere in the world, including the U.S. That means you WILL NOT receive a tracking number. In some countries, letters may take 3-4 weeks after shipping out from the U.S., but have faith. My letters have always arrived in past, and if not, I will make it right. I do not control how the international postal service works, so please do not ask me about it until you have waited a full month. If that feels too long, please feel free to check out my digital downloads.
Q: Are you secretly really cool and fashionable and have just been hiding it from the world all this time, kind of like how people learn to do the Dirty Dancing scene so they can bust it out at their weddings and totally surprise everyone?
A: No.
